The amount of ribbing required will be equal to the circumference of he circular rug:- 2*pi *r=2*3.14*4=24.56 feet

Radius of given circle = 4 feet

circumference of the circle = 2πr

= 2 × 22/7 × 4

=176/7

=25.14

therefore 25.14 feet ribbing is required to go around the rug
