Heya !!!!

Radius = 4 cm

Height= 3 cm

Slant height (L ) = ✓(H)² + (R)²

=> ✓(3)² + (4)² = ✓25

=> 5 cm

Therefore,

CSA of cone = πRL

=> 22/7 × 4 × 5

=> ( 22 × 4 × 5)/7

=> 440/7

=> 62.85 cm²

We're given that,
Radius of cone(r) = 4 cm
Height of cone(h) = 3 cm

Curved surface area of a cone = πrl

we have to find l,
By Pythagoras theorem
H² = P² + B²
here H = l, P = h, B = r
l² = h² + r²
l² = 3²+4²
l² = 9+16
l² = 25
hence, l =±5 cm
but, sides are never negative
therefore, l = 5cm

CSA of cone = πrl
= π×4×5
= π×20
= 20πcm²

Hope it helps you.!!
