Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN,

RADIUS OF SPHERE IS=7CM

VOLUME OF SPHERE IS =4/3πr^3

=4/3[22/7][7^3]

=4/3×[22÷7]×7×7×7

=4/3×22×7×7..........................(1)

GIVEN,

RADIUS OF CONE=7CM

HEIGHT OF CONE=4CM

∴ VOLUME OF EACH CONE = 1/3πR²H

= 1/3×22/7×7²×4

=1/3×22/7×7×7×4

=1/3×22×7×4.......................................(2)

∴ NUMBER OF CONE CAN MADE IS = VOLUME OF SPHERE/VOLUME OF CONE

=4/3×22×7×7÷1/3×22×7×4

4/3×7÷1/3×4

=4/3×7×3×1/4

=7

∴ 7 CONES CAN BE MADE

Given:

The radius of metallic sphere is 7 cm and radius of some cones of radius 7 cm and height 4 cm

Asked:

That how many cones can be formed by the melting

Formulae used :

For sphere = 4/3πr^3

For cone = 1/3πr^2h

Solution:

Sphere:

Radius=7cm

Volume=4/3πr^2

4/3×22/7×49×7[cm]^3

4/3 ×22×7×7cm^3

Cones:

Radius=7cm

Height=4cm

Volume= 1/3πr^2h

1/3×22/7×49×4cm^2

1/3×22×7×4 cm^2

Asked:

4/3×22×49/1/3×22×7×4

7 cones can be formed
