volume of cone = 9856 cm^3
volume of cone is
\pi \:  {r}^{2} h
area of base of cone = 616 cm^2
area of base is
\pi \:  {r}^{2}

dividing them both we get
h = 16 cm
also from equation 2nd we get
π (r^2) = 616
(22/7)(r^2) = 616
(r^2) = 196 cm^2
which gives us
r = 14 cm
so now formula for slant height is
 \sqrt{ {h}^{2}  +  {r}^{2} }
which gives us
√[ (16^2) + (14^2) ]
√[ 256 + 196 ]
√[ 452 ]
2 (√(113))
2(10.63)
21.26 cm
hope this helps
