Given : Radius = 21cm

Theta = 120°

To find : Arc length

♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

Formula to be used : theta = arc length / radius

arc length = theta × radius

♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

arc length = theta × radius

= 120 × 21cm

= 252cm

Note :- I haven't calculated in SI system like i didn't convert degrees into radian and centimetres into metres so don't get confused!

  • The radius of a sector is 21 cm and its central angle is 120.

To Find :-

  • The length of the arc.

Step-by-Step-Explaination :-

As we know that :-

Length of the arc = \frac{\theta}{360}  \times 2\pi \: r

=> L = \frac{120}{360}  \times 2\pi \: ( 21 )

=> L = \frac{1}{3}\times 2 \times\frac{22}{7}\times 21

=> L = \frac{1}{3}\times 2 \times 22 \times 3

=> L =  2 \times 22

=> L = 44 cm

Therefore,

The length of the arc of the circle is 44 cm .
