Perimeter of semicircle includes:-

(1)Semicircle which is half of circle and (2)the diameter of circle.

So half of the perimeter of circle= 1/2×2π =πr

and the diameter=2r

So the perimeter of semicircle will be= πr+2r

Now putting the vlaues

Perimeter which is given=108

Therefore, 108=r(π+2)

108= r(22/7+2)

108=r(22+14/7)

108=r×36/7

Therefore, r=108×7/36

Therefore, r=21m

Area of garden=πr²/2 =(22/7)×(21×21)/2

After solving we will get 693

So the answer will be 693m²
