SA of sphere = 4pr^2

if r=r

and r' = r+25% of r

      r'=125r/100

new SA=4*p*(25r/4)^2

       SA = 4*p*625r^2/16

        inc=16/625

here is your answer::

radius increased by 25%

means 5/4

that's mean old is 4 and new is 5

4π(4)^2 =old

4π(5)^2= new

64π=old

100π= new

change = 100π-64π=36π

% increase = 36π/64π ×100

=56.25%

hope u get your answer....

divergent07: i will try
LalitmGoyal: why did u report me
LalitmGoyal: I tried my best
divergent07: because it is wrong
sasha364: why 25% is 4\5
divergent07: 25% increase means 1 +25/100= 125/100= 5/4
sasha364: thanks
divergent07: my pleasure
