the no of significant fig are 3

4/3*3.14*1.14*1.14*1.14=11.44.....

therefore since in1.41 we have 3 significant fig the ans is 11.4 with 3 significant fig

Answer:

The volume of sphere is 11.7 cm^3.

Explanation:

Given that,

Radius of sphere = 1.41 cm

The volume of sphere is

V = \dfrac{4}{3}\pi r^3

Therefore,

r^3=(1.41)^3=2.803221\ cm

Number of significant figure = 7

\pi=3.14

Number of significant figure = 3

\dfrac{4}{3}=1.3333

Number of significant figure = 5

We can show that,

The smallest number of significant figure is 3.

We have reduce it up to 3 significant number.

The volume of sphere is

V = 1.3333\times3.14\times2.803221

V =11.73585

V = 11.7\ cm^3

Hence, The volume of sphere is 11.7 cm^3.
