Solution

Given:-

  • Radius of wheel = 1/2 m

Find :-

  • Round of wheel , if he cover 11 km distance

Explanation

Using Formula

\dag\boxed{\underline{\tt{\red{\: Circumference_{wheel}\:=\:2\pi\:r}}}}

Where,

  • r = radius of wheel .
  • π = 22/7

First Calculate ,

==> Circumference of Wheel = 2 × 22/7 × 1/2

==> Circumference of Wheel = 2 × 11/7

==> Circumference of Wheel = 22/7 m

We Know,

  • 1km = 1000 m

So,

==> 11 km = 11,000 m

Here,

∵ 22/7 m cover distance by wheel = 1 revolution

Then,

•°• 11,000 m cover distance by wheel in = 11,000/(22/7)

•°• 11,000 m cover distance by wheel in = 11,000 × 7/22

•°• 11,000 m cover distance by wheel in = 1000 × 7/2

•°• 11,000 m cover distance by wheel in = 500 × 7

•°• 11,000 m cover distance by wheel in = 3500 revolution

Hence

  • wheel need to 3500 round to take 11km cover distance .
