at first we have to calculate the distance covered by 1 rotation that is = 2×22/7×.7=4.4m

then distance covered by 600 rotation =4.4× 600 = 2640m

so the speed is 2640/ 60= 44m/s

Its speed is 44 m/s

Explanation:

given, radius of wheel = 70 cm = 0.7 m

rotations in 1 minute = 600

rotation in 1 second = \frac{600}{60} = 10 rps ( frequency)

Velocity, angular frequency and radius are related in circular motion by a  relation =>  Velocity = Radius* angular frequency

=> v= r w

angular frequency = 2\pi frequency

=> v = 0.7 * 2π * 10

=> v= 0.7 *2*  \frac{22}{7} *10

=> v = \frac{44}{10}*10

or velocity = 44 m/s
