The radius of a wheel of a cycle is 70 cm and it takes 5 minutes to make 300 rotation . Find the speed of the cycle in km per hour .

Radius of the wheel = 70 cm

Circumference =

2\pi \: r = (2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 70) = 440 \: cm

Distance covered by the wheel in 1 revolution = 440 cm

Distance covered by the wheel in 500 revolution = (440×300) cm = 132000 = 1.32 km

Distance covered in 1 hour

 =  \frac{1.32}{5}  \times 60 \\  = 15.84
