Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

M = 49.28 kg

◆ Explaination -

# Given -

r = 14 cm

h = 10 cm

# Solution -

Volume of cylinder is calculated by -

V = π.r^2.h

V = 22/7 × 14^2 × 10

V = 6160 cm^3

Given that mass of 1 cm^3 is 8 gm. So mass of 6160 cm^3 will be -

M = V × 8

M = 6160 × 8

M = 49280 gm

M = 49.28 kg

Hence, total weight of metal of the cylinder is 49.28 kg.
