assume that x and y no.of slices can be made of radii 5 and 2 cm.then we can write that the height of the cylinder be hcm. then applying the formula for volume of a cylinder we get h=35cm.then x+y=35 or, x= 35-y,then again volume of the slices of radius 5 cm= π.25x and the volume of the slices of radius 2cm=π4y.then π(25x+4y)=1100. and 25(35-y)+4y=1100. so we get y= 25cm and x= 10 cm.the 25 and 10 slices can be made of radii 5 and 2 cm.
