The radius of curvature of a concave mirror is 50 cm. Where should an object be placed in the mirror, so as to form its image at infinity? Justify your answer.

Here R /2=f

50/2 =f

25 =f

Now, 1/f = 1/u+1/v

1/-25 = 1/u+1/0

1/-25 =1/u +0

1/ -25 =1/u

so u = -25
