Radius = 2 m

 \sf f =  \frac{R }{2}  = 1m

u = -3.5m

we know that

 \sf(a) \:  \:   \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \frac{1}{v}  +  \frac{1}{u}  =  \frac{1}{f}

 \implies\sf  \frac{1}{v}  +  \frac{1}{( - 3.5)}  =  \frac{1}{1}

 \implies\sf  \frac{1}{v}  =  1 +  \frac{1}{3.5}  = 1 +  \frac{10}{35}  = 1 +  \frac{2}{7}  =  \frac{9}{7}

 \therefore \sf v =  \frac{7}{9}  = 0.77m
