the radius of curvature of a convex mirror used on an automobile is 200cm. a bus is coming behind it at a distance of 3.5m. calculate 1. the position and 2. the size of imagebrelative to the bus. also comment on the nature of image.

= 200/2=100cm or 1m

By mirror formula

1/f = 1/u + 1/v

1= 1/-3.5m + 1/v

1+1/3.5 = 1/v

4.5/3.5 = 1/v

9/7 = 1/v

V=7/9m

Size of image = 7/9m

The image will be virtual and erect
