Step-by-step explanation:

Given

the radius of curvature of concave mirror is 24 cm object is placed at twice of focal length before mirror then find magnification

Radius of curvature = 24 cm

Focal length = 24/2 = 12 cm

We know that focal length of concave mirror = - 12 cm

Object distance = u = - 2(12) = - 24 cm

We know that 1/f = 1/u + 1/v

                     1/- 12 = - 1/24 + 1/v

                   1/v = - 1/12 + 1/24

                          = - 1/24

So v = - 24 cm

We know that magnification = v/u

                                               = - 24 / - 24

                                              = 1

Therefore magnification = 1
