TO FIND

Area of paths

Area of circle = 22 / 7 × r^2

SOLUTION

First of all, we will find the area of inner circle alongwith the path.

So, radius of inner circle alongwith the path

= ( 7 + 7 )m = 14 m

We know, area of circle = 22/7 × r^2

= ( 22 / 7 × 14 × 14 )m^2

= 616 m^2

So, area of inner circle alongwith the path

= 616 m^2

Now, we will find the area of inner circle

Area of circle = 22 / 7 × r^2

= ( 22 / 7 × 7 × 7)m^2

= 154 m^2

So, area of inner circle = 154 m^2

THEN,

For finding area of path, we will subtract the inner area by the area of inner circle alongwith the path.

= ( 616 - 154 )m^2

= 462 m^2

So, the area of the path is 462 m^2
