CSA of Cylinder =
2\pi rh
h=1.4 m
=1.4×100
=140 cm.
r=84 cm.
CSA=2×22/7×84×140
=73920 cm2
Area of ground = CSA × No. Of revolutions
=73920×500=36960000 cm2
Area of ground in metres=3690000/10000
Because 1 cm2=1/10000 m2
Hence 36960000 cm2 =36960000/10000
= 3696 m2.
