SOLUTION

GIVEN

The radius of saturn is  \sf{6.02 \times  {10}^{7} \:  \: m } and the radius of earth is  \sf{6.3 \times  {10}^{6} \:  \: m }

TO DETERMINE

Compare the two radii in times

EVALUATION

Here it is given that the radius of saturn is  \sf{6.02 \times  {10}^{7} \:  \: m } and the radius of earth is  \sf{6.3 \times  {10}^{6} \:  \: m }

So the value of the below expression

\displaystyle\sf{ =  \frac{6.02 \times  {10}^{7} }{6.3 \times  {10}^{6} } }

\displaystyle\sf{ =  \frac{6.02 \times  {10}^{7 - 6} }{6.3 } }

\displaystyle\sf{ =  \frac{6.02 \times  {10}^{1} }{6.3 } }

\displaystyle\sf{ =  \frac{60.2  }{6.3 } }

= 9.56 ( approx )

Hence the radius of saturn is 9.56 times the radius of earth
