Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

E = 1.256×10^-4 J

● Explanation -

# Given -

r = 0.5 cm = 5×10^-3 m

T = 0.2 N/m

# Solution -

Surface energy of the soap bubble is given by -

E = T × A

E = T × 2×4πr^2

E = 0.2 × 8×3.14×(5×10^-3)^2

E = 1.256×10^-4 J

Hence, surface energy of the soap bubble is 1.256×10^-4 J.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps..
