Surface area of sphere = S = 4πr²

Therefore,  

= 4π (2.1)²

= ΔS/S = 2Δr/r→ ΔS = 2Δr/rS

= ΔS = 2×0.5×55.4/2.1

= 26.4cm²

= S =55.4 ± 26.4cm²

Therefore, the  surface area with error limits is 55.4 ± 26.4cm²
