Now, πr²h = 1617 cu cm
22/7 × r² × 3r/2 = 1617
r³ = (1617 × 7 × 2)/(22 × 3)

r = ∛343
r = 7 cm
Then the height = 10.5 cm
Surface area of the cylinder = 2πr(r+h)
= (2 × 22/7 × 7) × (7 + 10.5)
= 44 × 17.5
= 770 sq cm
