the radius (r) = 7 cm
height (h) = 6 cm

so it's volume = 1/3 πr2h

1/3×π×6×6×7= 84πcm3

or 84×22/7=. 264 cm3

Given:

  • The radius of the cone = 7 cm
  • The height of the cone = 6 cm

To Find:

  • The volume of the cone.

Solution:

  • We know that the volume of the cone is given by,
  • V = \frac{1}{3} πr^2h → (1)  ( where 'r' is the radius of the cone and 'h' is the height of the cone)
  • Substitute the values in equation (1) we get,
  • The volume of the cone, v = \frac{1}{3} * 3.14*(7*7)*6
  • The volume of the cone, v = 308 cm^3
  • The volume of the cone, v = 308 cm^3

∴The volume of the cone, v  = 308 cm^3
