lateral surface area of cone = πr√(h^2+r^2)

therefore,

r=7cm

h=√(l^2+r^2)

here h is height, l is slant height, r is radius of base of cone.

therefore, h=10.67cm

now, area= π×7√{(10.67) ^2+(7) ^2}

or, area=280.63cm ^2
