volume of right circular cylinder =pi×r^2×h
if the radius is halved and height is doubled,
new volume =pi×r^2×h×2/4
=pi×r^2×h/2
so the volume is halved when radius is halved and height is doubled.
so the ratio of new volume to old one is 1:2
if the radius is halved and height is doubled,
new volume =pi×r^2×h×2/4
=pi×r^2×h/2
so the volume is halved when radius is halved and height is doubled.
so the ratio of new volume to old one is 1:2
