The radius of the circle is 10 cm. Find its area. (it = 3.14)

It seems you said is 100 cm²

First of all we should find out area of circle .

Radius , r = 10cm

so, area of circle = πr² = 3.14 × (10)² = 314 cm²

We know,

Area of circle = area of minor sector + area of major sector

∴ area of major sector = area of circle - area of minor sector

= 314 cm² - 100 cm²

= 214 cm²

Hence, area of major sector of circle = 214 cm²
