area of circle a= 22/7 *14* 14 =616 cm2
area of circle  = 616*2=1232
therefore radius2 =1232*7/22=r2 = 392
r*r=392
therefore r = approx. 19.78

Vishnu73: Radius of the given circle, r = 14 cmArea of the given circle, A = πr2 = 227×14×14 = 22 ×28 = 616 cm2Let r1 be the radius of the bigger circle.Area of bigger circle, A1 = πr12Now, A1 = 2A⇒πr12 = 2×616⇒227×r12 = 1232⇒r12 = 392⇒r1 = 7×7×2×2×2⇒r1 = 142 cm
