Given:
Weight of object on Mars = 200N
Radius of Earth = 6400 km
Radius of Mars = 3200 km
Mass of Earth (Me) = 10 x Mass of Mars (Mm)
⇒Me/Mm = 10
We Know That g α m/R²
⇒ge/gm = (Me/Mm)(Rm/Re)²
⇒ge/gm=10 x (3200/6400)²
⇒ge/gm = 10/4
⇒ gm = (2/5) ge
Weight of object on Earth = M x ge = 200 N
Weight of object of Mars = M x gm
⇒ M[(2/5)ge]
⇒ Mge x (2/5)
= (200 x 2)/5 = 80 N
∴Weight Of Object on Mars = 80N
