In one revolution, the wheel will roll once around its circumference, so one revolution equates to a distance of :

Circumference = 2 π r

Distance/Circumference = 2 π r

Distance = 2 × 22/7 × 2.8

Distance = 44/7 × 2.8

Distance = 17.6

THEREFORE,

22 km = 22000 m

No. of Revolutions made =

=>Total Distance / Distance covered in 1 revolution

No. of revolutions = 22000 / 17.6

No. of revolutions = 1250

ANSWER =

No. of revolutions = 1250
