The wheel makes 3500 revolutions in 1 minute.

step explanation:

radius of one wheel of the car = 25 cm = 0.25 m

distance covered by the wheel to complete one revolution = circumference of the wheel

= 2\pi r

=2\pi (0.25)

= 0.5 \pi

speed of the bus is 33 km/h

distance covered by the wheel  in making n revolutions in 1 min= ( 0.5 \pi × n)

also the distance covered travelled by the bus in 60 min = (33×1000)m

distance travelled by bus in 1 min = \frac{33\times 1000}{60}= 5500 m

according to the question ,

0.5\pi \times n = 5500

n= \frac{5500}{0.5\pi }

n= \frac{5500\times 7 }{0.5\times 22}

n= 500×7

n= 3500 revolutions

hence,

the wheel makes 3500 revolutions in 1 minute.
