the formulae of any radius of an orbit is = 0.529xn^2/z.

so the radius of the third orbit of hydrogen is = 0.529x3^2/1=4.761 Å. .where n= no of orbit and z= atomic number.

R=0.529×n²/z

R=0.529×9

R=4.761 Å
