To find out the ratio we need to find the CSA of 2 cylinders first

ratio of 2 cylinder will be = CSA of first cylinder

CSA of 2nd cylinder

CSAof cylinder...which has r=2 and h=5

CSA = 2 pi r h

= 2 × pi × 2 × 5

=20 pi

CSA of cylinder ...which has r=3 and h=4

CSA= 2 Pi r h

=2 × pi × 3×4

=24 pi

RATIO:

CSA OF 1ST CYLINDER

CSA OF 2ND CYLINDER

=20 PI

24 PI

= 5
