volume of water will remain same

volume of roof=vol of cylinder

6160*h=π(7*7)(10)

h =49π/616

h=(7*22/616)m

The height of roof is 0.25 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of roof = lb = 6160 sq.m.

Let the height of roof be h

Volume of water on roof = lbh = 6160h

The rain water that falls on a roof is collected in a cylindrical tank of diameter 14m and height 10m

Radius of cylinder =\frac{14}{2}=7 m

Volume of cylinder = \pi r^2 h = \frac{22}{7} \times 7^2 \times 10

So, Volume of roof = Volume of cylinder

6160h =\frac{22}{7} \times 7^2 \times 10\\h = \frac{\frac{22}{7} \times 7^2 \times 10}{6160}

h =0.25

Hence The height of roof is 0.25 m
