And,

Area of the land = 1.8 hectares = 1.8 * 10000 = 18000 m² ….. [∵ 1 h = 10000 m²]

Therefore,

The total rainfall over the land will be,

= [Area of the land] × [Depth of the water on the land]

= 0.08 × 18000

= 1440 m³

Thus, the volume of water that fell on the 1.8 hectares of land is 1440 m³.
