The rain is bought by the south western monsoon wind in India which first reaches the southwestern coast i.e. Kerala by the first week of June. The bay of Bengal branch of wind reaches Delhi by first week of July.. so it arrives Delhi much later than Kerala.

The rain is bought by the south western monsoon wind in India which first reaches the southwestern coast i.e. Kerala by the first week of June.

Then the wind divides into 2 branches-

1) Arabian Sea branch

2) Bay of Bengal branch

The bay of Bengal branch of wind reaches Delhi by first week of July.. so it arrives Delhi much later than Kerala.
