The Rajasthan canal takes water from the river Satluj.
It starts from the harike Barrage at Harike, a few kilometres below the confluence of Satluj and Beas river in the Indian state of Punjab and terminates in irrigation facilities in Thar Desert in north west of Rajasthan state.
