\huge\tt\red{Answer}

.Velocity of car =36km/hr  =10m/s

initial range R=2u^2sinθcosθ/g=2/gPQ

where P=ucosθ, Q=usinθ

Final range R′=2/g(P+10)Q

Since vertical component remains the same

Increase in range, R′−R=g20Q=g20usinθ

R=2u^2sinθcosθ/g=1000 (given)

u^2=1000×g/2sinθcosθ

Solving (1) and (2)

⇒R′−R=20√1000/√g×√tanθ/√2=143√tanθ
