The taj MAHAL is a beautiful monument which was built by the SHAH JAHAN for his wife MUMTAZ MAHAL in 1632.

The Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world, situated in Agra, attracts more than two million tourists annually. Several reports showing that the taj mahal is getting affected by high levels of air pollution. the air in and around Agra contains high levels of sulphur and nitrogen oxides which produce acid rain. It is made from the ivory of white marble. it takes a long time to built almost 20 years and 20,000 workers . There is a uniqueness of taj mahal that is it is pinkish in morning , milky white in evening and golden at the night.

Now, There are many initiatives taken by the government to save the taj mahal from the air pollution.
