The answer is True.

The rate of generation of new bitcoins is constant. New bitcoins are always created at a fixed and predictable rate. On an average, 50 bitcoins were initially generated for each block. The count is currently 12.50. This works out to around 1,800 bitcoins being generated each day. The generation count gets halved for every 2,10,000 blocks or after approximately four years. Two halves have taken place so far with the first halving got done in 2012. The next halving is expected to happen in 2020.

The rate of generation of bitcoins in a year is constant.

This is False.

1800 bitcoins are generated every day until 2020.

Every year, the generation is halved until a supply of 21 million bitcoins are available.

This will go on and the mining of bitcoins will stop in 2140.
