The rate of tea per kg = 7x

2 × 7x + 5× x = 570

14x + 5x = 570

19x = 570

x = 30

Tea = 7×30 = 210

Now let the rate of sugar be x and that of tea be y.

The linear equations will be as follows :

x + y = 240

5x + 2y = 570
