let no. be X and y
x/y=12/13....1
x-20/y-20=2/3
3x-60=2y-40
3x-2y=20
dividing both sides by y
(3x/y)-(2)=20/y.....22
now, sub. value of x/y in equation 2
3(12/13)-2=20/y
36-26=20(13)/y
10/20=13/y
y=26
and x=24
