Step-by-step explanation:

let present age of A = x

let present age of B = y

acc to ques

x-2/y-2 = 3/2

2x-4 = 3y-6

2x-3y = -2 ---------1

x/y = 7/5

5x=7y

5x-7y = 0 -----------2

solving 1 and 2

10x - 15y = -10

10x-14y. =0

-. +. -

-----------------------

-y = -10

y = 10 put value of y in 2

5x - 7(10) = 0

5x= 70

x = 14

therefore present age of A is 14yrs and present age of B is 10yrs
