ten's digit=x
unit digit=y
number= 10x+y

A.T.Q
10x+y/x+y=4:1
10x+y=4x+4y
6x=3y
y=2x

y=3+x
2x=3+x
x=3

y=2x
2×3=6
number=10x+y
10×3+6
=36

Answer: The number is 36.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the unit digit of the number is y,

And, the tens digit of the number is x,

Hence, the complete number is (10x + y)

Since, The ratio between a two - digit number and the sum of digits of that number is 4:1.

\implies \frac{10x + y}{x+y}=\frac{4}{1}

\implies 10x+y=4x+4y

\implies 6x = 3y\implies 2x = y ,

Now, the digit in the unit place is 3 more than the digit in the tenth place,

\implies y - x = 3\implies 2x-x=3\implies x = 3

\implies y = 6

Thus,  the complete number = (10x + y) = 30 + 6 = 36
