let the no be 4x and 6x

4x+200 divided by 6x=5 by 6

cross multiply

6(4x+200)=5×6x

24x+1200=30x

1200=30x-24x

1200=6x

1200÷6=x

200=x

no of girls is 6×2000=1200

Answer:

Let the number of boys and girls be 4x and 5x respectively.

Then,

= 4 x5x−100=67⇒ 28 x = 30 x - 600⇒2x=600⇒x=300∴Number of boys=4×300=1200
