let the side be 2x and 3x respectively..

We know, area of rectangle=l×b

A/q

a=96m²

2x×3x=96m²

6x²=96

x=√16

x=4

hence the dimensions are l=2×4= 8,b=3×4=12

perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)

p= 2(8+12)

p=2×20

p=40m
