The curved surface area (CSA) of a cylinder is given by the formula: 2πrh. Where the variable r denotes the radius and the variable h denotes the height of the cylinder.Now, we need to find the ratio of the curved surface areas.

⇒  \frac{CSA}{TSA}  \frac{1}{2}

⇒  \frac{2πrh}{2π(r+h)}  \frac{1}{2}

⇒  \frac{h}{(r+h)}  \frac{1}{2}

⇒ 2h = (r+h) (Use cross Multiplication)

⇒ h + r

⇒  \frac{h}{r}  \frac{1}{1}
