Solution-

Length of rectangular field = 5x

Breadth of rectangular field = 4x

If breadth is 20m less than Length .

5x - 4 x = 20m

x = 20m

Put the values

Length of rectangular field = 5 x 20 = 100m

Breadth of rectangular field = 4 x 20m = 80m

___________________________

Perimeter of rectangular field = 2 ( l + b )

Perimeter of rectangular field => 2 *( 100m + 80m )

=> 2 * 180m

=> 360 m

Perimeter of rectangular field => 360m

___________________________

Other important formula .

Perimeter of Square => 4 * side

Area of rectangle => L x B

Area of square => side x side

Perimeter of rectangle => 2 ( l + b )
