Ratio of P and Q is 3:4.

So,

Let 3x be P's age and 4x be Q's age.

Q's age is 20years. (given)

∴ 4x = 20

➽ x = 5

P's age = 3x

P's age = 3(5)

∴ P's age is 15years.

So, Q age is 20 and P age is 15 at present.

After 5yrs,

  • Q'age ➜ 20+5 = 25years.
  • P's age ➜ 15+5 = 20years.

Ratio of the ages of P and Q = 20:25 = 4:5.

∴ Ratio of ages of P and Q is 4:5 after 5 years.
