The ratio between the present ages of Soni and her husband is 4:7 respectively. Also, her husband is 18 years older than her. What is the present age of Soni’s brother, who is half the present age of Soni’s husband?

Let, the present ages of Soni and her husband be 4x and 7x

7x = 18+4x

=) 7x-4x = 18

=) 3x = 18

=) x = 18/3 = 6

Soni's age = (4×6) = 24yrs

Soni's husband's age = (7×6) = 42yrs

Present age of Soni's brother

= (½×42) yrs
